My mother-in-law has this coin. She didn't know what it was. My kids saw it, and knew what it was. They assumed, because of it's age, that it would be worth a fortune.

The kids promised their granny that they'd look it up online, and tell her how many millions it is worth. Sadly, however, when we looked it up, we found that it is only worth about $250. Still, it's pretty neat to have.

She found this coin in a creek near her house. Who knows how it got there.
