DeAnneAlvin and the Chipmunks

My family went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks the other day. Rated PG, it was suitable for my 12 year-old daughter and her "boyfriend". I think my husband and I enjoyed it more than the kids did!
I always loved the Chipmunks when I was younger, and the movie was great! Unlike so many of the other "remakes" that have come out recently, this one stayed pretty true to the original. The only difference was more modern music. (Though some original Chipmunk songs were in there too!)
If you have kids, or if you just loved Alvin and his brothers when YOU were a kid, you gotta see this movie.

I loved the Chipmunks too but that was one of my fears that the movie will not live up to what I expect the Chipmunks to be in my head. Now that I have your confirmation that it's good, I shall go to the cinemas tomorrow
