I don't usually do movie reviews, but this one fits with the "patriotic" theme of this blog, so what the heck!
I absolutely loved the first National Treasure. But, then again, I usually love anything with Nicholas Cage.
This one was pretty good too. Not as good as the first, but what sequel is as good as the first?
Ben Gates (Cage) is looking for the truth behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, along with his usual side-kicks. There aren't quite as many twists and turns where clues are involved, and there isn't quite as much action as the first movie. Overall, though, I thought it was a good flick. I'm sure I'll watch it again when the DVD comes out.
If you liked the first National Treasure, then I recommend seeing this one too. If you didn't like the first one, you probably won't like this one any better.
